Fourteen of us today
This included Tony and Annette on their first walk with the group
It was also the first time we met Terry’s partner Helen
Bright,
sunny morning as we set off from Jalon
A chilly 14c meant we all wore jackets
But
the bitter, cold wind of yesterday was absent
We have to cancel the walk last week due to heavy rain
So we all really appreciated the ideal walking conditions today
I
had hoped that Jan would be able to do this relatively easy walk
But
unfortunately she was not able to do so
Lots of the usual banter throughout the walk
And the cooler temperatures meant a faster pace
So
I was not surprised that we finished half an hour earlier than expected
But no one complained about getting to the bar earlier than planned
A very enjoyable walk but not the same without Jan
